As July finds its place in the calendar, summer takes control of the year and turns the final hints of spring into clear copper skies and haziness. It reigns everything, from our sartorial choices to our lifestyle decisions, and fills them with essential minimalism. Our clothing is reduced to the basics, our activities become limited to the necessities, and our time in the sun is subtracted even when the sun is out a substantial part of the day.
