The Benett Quilt Jacket reimagines a classic silhouette through Nappa Dori Atelier’s approach to craftsmanship and material reuse. Constructed from vintage quilts, each piece undergoes multiple rounds of re-dyeing in two colours to achieve its final shade, revealing subtle tonal variations across 13 quilted sections. The varied quilting patterns reflect the intricacy and precision of its construction.
Lined with cotton, it features an extended collar, double-layered ribbed cuffs, wooden buttons, a front pocket and two side pockets. Leather rings on the inside of the button fixtures add a considered finishing detail. Bringing together everyday utility and artisanal workmanship, the jacket gives reworked textiles a new expression through thoughtful design and construction.
